The State Theatre

This one of the coolest live music venues you can visit in entire Virginia. Once opened 1936, it operated as a popular movie house until 1988. After restoration, it has become one of the most popular music venues in the entire country. Drink a handcrafted beer in a cool retro robot interior or pair a locally brewed beer with a lovely grilled-cheese sandwich and some crisp tater tots. You will easily locate the bar because of its illuminated space sign in the front window.
